New Cultural Clients in Chicago, St. Louis

March 05, 2010

We’re proud to welcome two highly respected arts institutions to the Slover Linett family this week: the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.

We’ll be helping both organizations gain a deeper understanding of their audiences through quantitative research. For the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, we’ll use a suite of online surveys to study the perceptions and attitudes of three key audiences: subscribers, single-ticket-buyers, and lapsed subscribers.

For the MCA Chicago, we’ll help the museum team enhance its visitor survey to capture a more holistic picture of the visit experience, including practical and logistical aspects that many museum evaluation studies don’t examine.

Managing partner Cheryl Slover-Linett and senior associate for performing arts Chloe Chittick Patton look forward to working again with the orchestra’s new vice president of marketing, Jonna Robertson, who was a long-time client in her previous position at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. “It’ll be a pleasure to help Jonna and her team get to know their patrons in a new way and keep that ‘ear to the ground’ in future seasons,” Chittick Patton says.

Our MCA project will be led by senior associate for museums Sarah Lee, who is enjoying getting to know the museum’s marketing and operations teams. “It’s an institution we’ve always admired, particularly for the energy and innovation of its ‘voice’ and programming,” Lee says, “so we’re particularly proud to help them strengthen their audience research program.”

Both projects are slated to begin immediately.
