Catherine Jett joins Slover Linett Strategies from the Rotary Foundation, becoming the firm's first Research Assistant.
In that role, Jett will help conduct research and evaluation studies in all three of Slover Linett's client sectors: museums, performing arts, and higher ed.
Jett graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in Spanish and women’s studies. She was a Grant Coordinator at the Rotary Foundation in Evanston, Illinois, one of the largest and most prestigious fellowship programs in the world.
Before coming to Slover Linett, Catherine spent several months traveling by bicycle in France and volunteering on family-run organic farms. She also lived in Jerusalem, where she commuted to Bethlehem to help a small nonprofit organization write grants to fund youth programs. Prior to that journey, Catherine worked in nonprofit marketing at the National Safety Council.
Catherine's new colleagues at Slover Linett are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the unique perspective and valuable contributions she will make to every project.
"What really impressed us was Catherine's curiosity," said managing partner Cheryl Slover-Linett. "She's omnivorous — she wants to learn about everything. That's what led her into such interesting work in Europe and the Middle East, and now she's eager to bring that same spirit to arts and education research. As researchers, our job is to ask questions. So the first thing we look for in a job candidate is that spark of curiosity."
Please join us in warmly welcoming Catherine to the Slover Linett team.
