As a Research Analyst at Slover Linett, Mike Hanus transforms audience survey data into strategic insights for universities, arts organizations, museums, and other clients.
Mike joined Slover Linett full time in 2007 after working with the firm on a freelance basis for several years. In addition to his academic training in statistical exploration and interpretation of data, Mike brings professional experience in all aspects of quantitative research, from planning and design to report writing.
Mike is a linchpin of the firm’s ongoing work with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and manages several arts evaluation projects funded by the Wallace Foundation in Chicago, Minneapolis, and other cities.
Prior to Slover Linett, Mike was an analyst at Richard Day Research, a polling and market research firm in Evanston, Illinois, where he managed large survey projects in mass transit, financial services, and pharmaceuticals. Mike also worked as an analyst in a healthcare consulting firm.
Mike earned a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy Studies and a B.A. from the University of Michigan, where he triple-majored in economics, political science, and Russian & East European Studies.
